Watch me flip!

These table base models have the capability to flip--but only the Horizon Series can also roll and nest with the addition of casters. Models shown are available in both flipping and standard configurations.

FAQs

A flipping table base is a commercial base whose top tilts vertically for storage, transport, or quick room turnover. They're built for spaces that flex between layouts: training rooms, classrooms, banquet halls, hotel meeting space, and multipurpose rooms. FurnitureLab offers flipping options across five mechanism families (FlipTop, FlipLift, AeroLift, LiftOff, MonoLift), and most models are also available in standard (non-flipping) configurations on the same base family. Browse all of them at Flipping Table Bases.

Five mechanisms, five different jobs. FlipTop is the classic manual flip for vertical storage. FlipLift adds height assistance on the flip. AeroLift is air-assisted for one-person operation on heavier tops. LiftOff lets the top detach from the base for deep storage or reconfiguration. MonoLift is the single-column variant for tighter footprints. Pair any of them with your top of choice across Table Tops, or see the full base family at Table Bases.

That's the Horizon Series. With casters added, Horizon is the only FurnitureLab flipping base that can flip the top vertical, roll on its own, and nest tight against other Horizon tables for compact storage. It's the right pick when a room needs to flip from training-style rows to clear-floor reception in a single move. Horizon is also available in a standard, non-flipping configuration if you want the same look without the mechanism.

Yes, flipping bases are spec'd with the top of your choice, sized to the base's load and footprint. Lighter tops like laminate and solid surface are most common on flipping bases because they keep the flip motion easy. For heavier solids like wood tops, AeroLift's air assist is usually the right pairing. Your account manager will confirm compatibility once they see your top spec and size.
