Energy
FurnitureLab's solar array produces enough energy to power FurnitureLab World Headquarters, plus a little extra to put back in the grid. It’s all part of our commitment to the community and environment.
Chairs
The cold-rolled steel used in most of our metal chairs has a recycled content of over 90%, originating primarily from automobiles. Our steel is made of 59% post-consumer scrap and 33% of post industrial materials. All of our steel is 100% recyclable. Our polypropylene components are made from 100% recycled polypropylene. Most wood frames and other wood components are available FSC Certified. Finishes are water-based and contain no VOCs. We can make any upholstered item with your choice of sustainable contract fabrics.
Booths
All our booths are available in formaldehyde-free FSC Certified wood. Finishes are water- based and contain no VOCs. We can make any upholstered booth with your choice of sustainable contract fabrics. Jupiter booths are made with GreenGuard certified laminate.
Table Tops
Our standard and graphic laminate is GreenGuard certified. These tops use a core of 100% recycled and recovered wood waste or fiber generated from wood residue including sawdust and shavings. Substrate is available in formaldehyde-free FSC Certified wood. Metal edges on StreamLine tables is made from a minimum 50% recycled content and it is 100% recyclable. NeoCast urethane edges are made with 65% vegetable oil, a rapidly renewable resource. All wood tops can be upgraded to formaldehyde-free FSC Certified wood. Finishes are water-based and contain no VOCs. Our Solid Surface table tops are made with at least 75% recycled content.
Table Bases
The Cast Iron base plate and spider is made of 100% recycled iron from auto engine blocks. Epoxy Powdercoat finish (No VOCs, does not off-gas).
Trash Receptacles
