Yes. Frame finishes, upholstery textiles and Boltaflex vinyls, arm cap finishes, and bariatric ratings can all be tailored. Coordinate with your Booths and Table Tops so the room reads as a single design. If you need a school color, a brand match, or a contract-grade textile we don't currently show, your Account Manager will grade it in.
Yes. Every FurnitureLab arm chair is engineered to commercial contract standards: daily public use, frequent cleaning cycles, and the wear that comes with education, healthcare, and government interiors. Frame welds, glides, and arm joints are spec'd for the long haul, and upholstered surfaces use cleanable, contract-grade vinyl or textiles. Bariatric versions tested to 500 pounds are available across the line through Bariatric Seating.
Duration of use is the deciding factor. Stacking chairs from Stacking Chairs are right for short sessions and rooms that need to flip layouts. Arm chairs are right for medium-duration sitting where users want elbow support without committing to lounge depth. Lounge is right for extended hang-out time in lobbies, breakout zones, and collaborative spaces. Many rooms mix all three.
