Wood Tops
Wood Tops and edges should be cleaned with mild soapy water. As with any wood surface, water spills should be wiped off immediately. Do not use bleach or a bleach-water solution to clean the table top as this will damage the finish. Wood surfaces should not be subjected to extreme temperatures or moisture.
Laminate Tops
Laminate and ThinduraCore™ Tops can be cleaned with any non-abrasive cleaner such as Windex® or Formula 409®. Remove stubborn stains with a damp paste of baking soda. Leave on for a minute, then blot away (do not scrub).
NeoCast™ Tops
Urethane edges are generally stain resistant. Avoid any exposure to staining bacteriostatic agents such as Iodine or Betadine. Do not use harsh cleaners with abrasive additives, straight or concentrated bleach, sharp metal objects, sandpaper, or hard bristle brushes to clean the edge. These can cause permanent damage and will void the warranty. Clean ordinary soiled edges caused by normal use with a damp cloth or sponge and Clorox Clean Up with Bleach, Formula 409, Windex or Simple Green. For stains, use soft bristle scrub brushes only, to prevent scratching. Successive cleanings may be required using a soft bristle brush and 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. Failure to follow the above protocols may result in a “sticky” edge. Over time, the edge may harden again if the use of harsh chemicals is discontinued; however this is not guaranteed,
EverCore Solid Surface Tops
To clean solid surface, use soap and water, apply with sponge and towel dry to eliminate water spots. For stubborn stains – use a bleaching nonabrasive cleaner, like Soft Scrub™, and a white Scotch-Brite™ pad. To remove cuts and scratches, sand with a block using 150 then 280 grit sandpaper until cuts are gone, blend the sanding so the repair cannot be seen, restore finish with a nonabrasive cleaner and a white Scotch-Brite™ pad.
Chairs
We recommend that chairs and stools be inspected on a regular basis for wear and tear. Wood Chairs can be cleaned with a liquid cleaner-wax polish combination. We recommend Old English® Dark Oil on dark woods and Lemon Oil® on all woods with a light finish. Water spills on the surface should be wiped off immediately. Do not use abrasive household solvents. To repair scratches, use a wax repair stick. Wood products should not be subjected to extreme temperatures or moisture.
Metal Finishes
Clean wrinkled powdercoat surfaces by wiping with a damp cloth. Brush the surface with a soft bristled dry brush to remove dirt. For smooth powdercoats, wipe with a damp cloth. Use soap and water for stubborn stains. Clean chrome with an automotive chrome cleaner to maintain a bright finish. Use a rust-inhibiting chrome spray paint to touch up any area of finish which has been damaged. Clean aluminum using a soft cloth with water or mild soap.
Vinyl Upholstery
