We love it when a cafe plan comes together.

This hospital dining area called for three things we specialize in: customization, complexity and coordination. Among many other lovely elements, the designer envisioned a custom shape solid surface counter mounted to the back of a long angled banquette--more than 1100 miles away from our HQ. Yikes.

What can we say, we love a challenge! With the help of our local fabrication partner and dealer installer, we were able to work on site to fashion the custom boomerang-shaped cantilever countertop in glam Livingstone Rock Salt solid surface to coordinate with the EverCore tables in Corian Cirrus White. The stylish Jupiter booth seating throughout is in cutting edge Carnegie, Arc-Com, and Unika Vaev textiles--and FurnitureLab's clever templating process ensured a perfect fit.

In the nearly 20 years that Texas Health has faithfully served this community, the city of Allen has grown from 45,000 residents to more than 103,000, and we are so proud to be a small part of the largest expansion in the hospital’s history. 

For a while we couldn't recall how exactly we made a boomerang shaped counter... But then it came back to us. (Sorry, we had to.)
