It's essential to consider ADA access in your furniture plans, and we can help! The Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law in 1990 to prevent discrimination towards people with disabilities. In 2009 and 2010, it was updated to include specific building and design requirements that would make public buildings accessible to people with limited mobility.

Table height clearance is especially crucial for wheelchair users. FurnitureLab offers adjustable height bases for the Horizon Series, Zenith Series, and all Metro Bases. All of our other bases can be made at a custom height if needed, and when planning, do make sure you have enough side-to-side clearance as well!
